This 8x10 contemporary rug is an exciting new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection—handwoven in a new flat weave construction using a blend of wool and exotic yarns inspired by alpaca.

On the Design:

Admirers of the craft will appreciate this delicate interpretation of classical lattice patterns, where soft beige-brown lines weave gracefully through light pink and cream octagons. The composition brings to mind the elegant geometry of French garden paths, yet remains thoroughly modern in its restrained two-tone palette. Keen eyes will further appreciate this as an especially soft new flatweave, with a particularly smooth texture inherent to the exotic yarns—drawing on the look and feel of Alpaca rugs, as nuanced and alluring to the touch as the warm, creamy colors are to the eye.

Our flatweave’s more durable, weighted body is also a hallmark of the collection, made for high-traffic and heavy-furniture spaces.
