The beveled mercury glass that composes it adds a touch of sophistication and clarity to the whole.
The particularity of this mirror lies in its richly decorated pediment, where patterns of shell, foliage, scrolls and palmettes are displayed, testifying to the baroque and rococo influence of the period.
The mirror frame, although molded, remains sober and refined, contrasting with the richness of the pediment.
Two sculptures of acanthus leaves in the lower part discreetly decorate the whole, adding a touch of stylized nature typical of the rocaille style.
