The square silk shade is black on the exterior and gold on the interior with a slight flare at the top and rests on a sculpture square base that is 3.25"H. The sculptured square base is made of bronze and has a horizontal bar at the top and bottom separated by a small circular bronze motif in 2 alternating rings of different sizes. The bottom of the bronze base features inverse-shaped small finials that are 0.75"H that serve as feet. The lamp takes (1) 60W max incandescent standard light bulb which is operated by a black toggle switch incorporated into the 7' long black plug-in cord. Truly a unique lamp that would look phenomenal in a living room, family room, den or bedroom for ambient lighting. The piece is in new, pristine condition (albeit no longer made) and has had no previous owners. The lamp was made in Italy. See less
