what a thing! this is one of, if not the finest example i have come across, i have never seen a demi lune example before, having bought and sold hundreds of these over the years i can honestly say this is the first example of this form i have ever handled it will easily accommodate most large fireplaces, the seat pad is one huge bench top and its brand new, it has been upholstered in premium italian russet hide leather, russet is plain untreated leather which is significantly more expensive than standard pre-dyed hide, it is the traditional hide that would have been used in the victorian era. After upholstery, the hide is hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed and finished
