Modeled after an ancient Egyptian Klismos chair, the straight front legs have a detailed "claw" animal foot detail; the back legs are gracefully splayed for stability. .This comfortable sitting chair features a light brown fabric which is 100% Mohair (camel) on both the seat and the raised back. The fabric is a premium Baker Grade Mohair which contributes significantly to the price. There is decorative spaced Antiqued Bronze nail trim above each of the 4 legs. The legs and Splat (which connects the back to the seat) are sculptural Cast Bronze making this design truly unique. This chair would be at home in a living area, a foyer or as a "slipper" chair in a bedroom. The piece is in new, 1st quality condition (although it is no longer made) and has had no previous owners.
