A fascinating bit of English horse racing history for wearing or framing, this silk scarf commemorates the Derby held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in 1955. It is printed with a handsome central illustration of the winner, owned by Mme L. Volterra (Suzy) “Blue Peter,” surrounded by details of previous derby winners from the commencement of the Derby in 1780 to 1955.
With its beautiful horse and jockey, this scarf has black printing and a gorgeous olive border. It is machine-stitched on all edges.
