This is a charming faux tortoise Trinket box. It was produced for by The Halden Group in the last 80's to 90's in Japan. It is in good vintage condition, with a few pulls on the lacquer finish. Would look great on a tray on a coffee table, desk or in a collection of other pretty curiosities. Measures 3.5" high, 4.25" wide and 3.75" deep.
