This vintage 1937 original crayon art portrait piece features a lovely Art Deco era woman in a head scarf. The artist has signed the lower left with monogramed initials, and the back includes an art show submission card from the Society of Liberals Arts in Omaha, Nebraska for the artist, Rose H. Erlander. This piece is in the original frame under glass.
· 16” wide x 19” tall x 0.5” depth framed size; 9” wide x 12” tall portrait size
· Signed RHE lower left.
· Vintage condition: Original mat has some discoloration and smudge marks, particularly lower left as pictured; frame has knicks, scratches and imperfections throughout; back finishing paper has tears as shown.
