The candlestick is adorned with a gold color, while the rest is painted in the art deco characteristic sage green. This candlestick features three golden feet rendered in relief. Produced by Stjärnmetall (Stjärnkvist Metall AB), this piece is painted in a striking sage green and gold. It is stamped with "Stjärmetall Made in Sweden," on the inside of the candlestick. Dating back to the 1940s, this art deco candlestick showcases the distinctive style of Stjärnmetall, a company originally named Stjärnkvists Metall AB, which was acquired by Nils Johan at the end of the 1930s. The metal used is likely a zinc alloy, featuring a beautiful green and gold paint. This vase is attributed to designer Gunnar Åkerlind was known for his classic, empire-style designs. See less
