Add a touch of South African vintage flair to your home with this unique floral tray. This piece was made by Toro Designs in Estcourt, Natal (now KwaZulu-Natal), South Africa. It features a striking arrangement of protea flowers, South Africa's national flower, in shades of pink, orange, and green on a soft beige backdrop. The gold trim adds a touch of elegance. This tray likely dates from the mid-to-late 20th century, before Natal was renamed in 1994.
The fabric has a protective finish.
