Description: "Aurora at Dawn" is based on a oil painting found in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. Although the original was not a theorem, Nancy Rosier determined that the original was an ideal subject for a theorem. The theorem is hand painted with the use of stencils on a cotton velveteen fabric. The frame is hand painted with a wood grain look. A unusually large theorem painting and a must for Colonial Williamsburg fans.

Nancy Rosier is a nationally recognized artist and authority on theorem paintings. Her works have been featured in many magazines, newspapers band books. She was chosen by the White House to create a theorem ornament for the Blue Room Christmas Tree. Her theorem painting was also sold in the Colonial Williamsburg Craft House. Further, she made an exhibit on creating theorem paintings that was exhibited in the Colonial Williamsburg museum.


Condition Report: Painting is in very good condition, the frame is in good condition with some wear.
