This Lobster painting is a celebration of it colorful details in it natural state, each piece a unique expression of my vision. I began by translating the organic forms on the wood panel into a delicate drawing, capturing its natural texture and character. Next, I applied layers of vibrant acrylics, building up the solid forms of the lobsters with deliberate strokes. Once dry, I gently rubbed in accent colors, coaxing each lobster to emerge from the background with a subtle glow. To evoke the underwater world, I layered washes of translucent color, mimicking the play of light and shadow beneath the surface.
