This wall lamp Model C-1573 from Raak Amsterdam was designed by the Raak design team (including Nanny Still-Mackinny, Tapiovaara Wirkkala and Frank Ligtelijn). In the Raak catalog no. 9 (1972), the wall lamp was described as a study light, reading light or light for reading quietly before going to sleep. Ideal for the bedroom.
The full-reflex louvre with its reflective facets enhances the light flow. The lamp contains no breakable parts and was therefore also used in hotels and hospitals in the past. The top plate – off-white – is recessed into the brown frame. This piece has an attribution mark,
