This beautiful rug from early 20th century Turkey features a Classic Oushak design, which is enhanced by lustrous wool. The chocolate-brown ground is home to the center medallion and surrounding floral motifs. The taupe-colored border, an extension of these motifs, is surrounded by two smaller guard borders. Colors include brown, ivory, taupe and cream. This carpet is an elegant and unique work of art.
