Head made of bronze with lost wax casting.
Probably the 1930s, a period in which a Mastroianni at the dawn of his career used to practice with female faces.
Signed U. Mastroianni on the neck on the right.
Umberto Mastroianni is a very important Italian artist of the 20th century, considered the first Italian abstract sculptor.
The sculpture is in an excellent state of conservation. This piece has an attribution mark,
