A Antique Pennsylvania Farmhouse Paint Decorated, Tapered Leg Work Table, Circa 1800
Found in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania
2 board pine top, late 19th century grain paint, over the original red paint.
Tapered Hepplewhite legs. I feel the table is full original height. The original use was a centre work table in an open hearth fire kitchen. We are calling it a centre table, but it can be used anywhere.
Size: 35 1/2” by 28 1/2” top, 29 1/2” tall.
Condition: Vintage as found condition, the table has a current painted surface from the 1890's over the original red paint. Lots of patina to the current painted surface, lots of use and wear marks, and paint loss. Typical use and wear marks are consistent with age.
