An oil on board painting by Anton Van Dalen, Dutch-American, 1938-2024. Signed with a monogram upper right and dated on the back 1965. A still life with grapes and wine in a glass. With its original frame and backing paper. It is a small painting measuring 9 1/2" high by 11 1/4" wide including the frame. In excellent condition and guaranteed to be as described.
Anton van Dalen (1938 – 2024) was a Dutch American artist known for his paintings of the East Village of New York City. He was an assistant to the artist Saul Steinberg for 30 years.
