With elegant straight lines, this piece has a very contemporary feel and will work well in both traditional and contemporary settings. The unusual wood with its distinct color and fine pattern is macassar ebony, an exotic wood.
Native to Southeast Asia, macassar ebony is a dense and luxurious hardwood known for its dramatic appearance, featuring dark black streaks interwoven with golden to reddish-brown bands.
