In the early 1990s, Carter began exhibiting his art sculptures in galleries. The Wrecking Ball was one of his early installations and features a polyester resin ball with miniature dimensional fiber homes colliding on the interior. Furniture and people can be seen spattered about. The demolition ball is connected to a heavy 9' steel chain that anchors to a ceiling with a cast iron support. See less
