This ornamentation process is found in various places, notably in the upper part, on the facade and on the uprights, always on a black background in blackened pear wood, thus offering a beautiful contrast. The chiseled brass inlays form intertwined scrolls, foliage and arabesques.
this piece of furniture opens with a door that pulls from the right, made up of four concave elements in the corners: these are separated by chiseled bronze fittings, one of which is fitted with a key used for opening. The lock is functional. The oval-shaped motif in the central part has a significant bronze molding, decorated with flowers accompanied by a pearl. The mahogany interior is structured with two shelves of the same species, adjustable on a rack.
furthermore, this quality furniture at support height is enriched with numerous bronzes, in particular falls sculpted in the shape of mermaids in the upper part of the uprights, in the shape of flowers for the falls, but also in the half-round corners. . Two moldings of the same alloy embellish the upper part. A third molding festooned with petals embellishes the base in its overhang, while its perimeter, like that of the half-round corners, is finely highlighted with inlays of brass fillet on blackened wood.
