On the design:

This design has been Inspired by 18th century Aubusson rugs and tapestries in particular, known as some of the finest to approach these Greco Roman pictorials and floral patterns, sometimes also called “Hellenistic” patterns in art history, but more commonly neoclassical. Keen eyes will admire an array of motifs ranging from vases to griffins—a mythological creature of the handful seen in rare, grand pieces like those that inspired this homage. This work is a nod to a rich weaving tradition with a more durable quality—from the earliest custom works by Jahanshah Nazmiyal that started this collection, released for the first time. See less
