A mirror made in Italy between the 70s and 80s, which has nothing to do with the classic Italian style … Read more A mirror made in Italy between the 70s and 80s, which has nothing to do with the classic Italian style of the mid-20th century that characterizes the production of canes furniture. This solid and really large vintage mirror exudes primitive and tribal vibes with a nod to the colonial style; made with massive bamboo canes interlocked and overlapped as if to build a hut, they perfectly frame a mirror with an unusual pentagonal shape. The bindings created with splendid rattan weaves embellish and highlight even more the intersections created by the bamboo canes. All the natural fiber elements that make up the front of this mirror are dyed in a splendid Tobacco Brown shade. The mirror is in good vintage condition, it has been subjected to a thorough cleaning and the wooden part polished with a specific protective wax.
