Pair of Early 19th Century earthenware wine coolers, Davenport, Staffordshire, on reeded mahogany wine coasters, wired as lamps. These unusual terracotta vessels are English Regency Davenport terracotta Bacchanalian wine coolers. Beautifully moulded with fruiting vine relief and two handles created by a pair of satyr fauns. Very fine rare pieces. 19th Century, Georgian (1714 to 1837)
Near perfect condition. From a prestigious Montecito estate.
