This artist has always separated himself from what drives his contemporaries. For more than twenty years, Roberto Noboa (Guayaquil, 1970) has been an artist who does not conform to the trends of the art world. Noboa obtained a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts and a master's degree in Arts at New York University, where he lived several years after completing his studies. Upon returning to Ecuador, passion plunged him into tireless experimentation. His first exhibitions in the mid-1990s brought perverse animals and children, strong expressionist images that did not mix with the social and political inclinations of the artists and the public of that time.
