Fabulous vintage c.1960's oil on masonite board modernist painting depicting sailboats with amazing color and form! Signed lower right, 'F Janus', and the board is stamped on the reverse, Made in Finland, so I believe this piece to be Scandinavian in origin.
It measures 38 1/2" wide by 26 1/2" tall total framed size, with just the board measuring 35 3/4" by 24". Very good vintage condition as shown, with age appropriate wear. The frame has some wood loss along one edge as shown ion the closeup, some soiling to the frame as well, etc..
