This beautiful vintage Frederick Cooper table lamp from the late 20th century is a stunner! The lamp's ink blue background and scrolling foliate motif is meticulously hand-painted using Faïence-style glazes and accented with 24K gold highlights. The base and canopy are solid, lacquered brass. Although the dark blue background appears brighter in the several of the close-up photos, it is actually quite dark and can read onyx depending on the light. Although every room can use a little black, this lamp offers a nice opportunity to go dark without going full black. Best of all, it is in terrific vintage shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. Ready for display!
