Born in Venice, he was a son of the arts: his father, Emilio Zago, was an important interpreter of the Venetian dialect, with whom he began working as a child. He later created his own theatre companies, performing in various Goldonian works; he was a stage companion of Cesco Baseggio and Toni Barpi, among others. In the cinema he made his debut in 1935 in the film La luce del mondo by the director Gennaro Righelli, at the same time the EIAR gave him the opportunity to act in various radio comedies. During the Second World War he worked on several films shot in the Scalera studios on the Giudecca in Venice. He died in his home town in 1947. This piece has an attribution mark,
