Kazuhide takahama djuna low table for cassina a designer low table that exudes understated elegance, crafted by japanese architect takahama as a tribute to female writer djuna barnes, among the denizens of the paris bohemian scene during the 1920s to 1940s. Frame bent and chromed steel rod. Top mirror polish or matt paint finish, marble. Top elliptical. The low table known as djuna, was designed by kazuhide takahama in 1983, and is dedicated to barnes’ writing style. This american author was one of the leading figures of the 1920s bohemian scene in paris. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
