Beautiful 19th century hand-carved walnut Black Forest wall mirror, adorned with grapevines and leaves around a shield, with eagle perched above. Circa 1880.
The original heavily foxed glass plate is present. There are a few minor nibbles in places to the walnut carvings, but generally the walnut frame is in very good condition. The carved eagle has glass eyes.
A later wall fitting has been added at some time in the past, next to the hole cut out, originally used.
