This beautiful Mid Century Modern Abstract Pastel by James Tucker 1958. I believe this to be a pastel on paper measure 22.25" x 13.25" it is taped to a mat board the mat board measure 25.75" x 17 7/8".
James Tucker served as curator of the Weatherspoon Art Gallery a UNC-G from 1959 until his retirement in 1986. He was also an active painter for many years, and his works are represented in many collections in Greensboro NC and elsewhere.
