Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a fabulous classic black and white painting featuring a beautiful blue as an accent color. This piece is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘72” in the lower right corner and was executed with acrylic on board and framed.
The art is in good condition with typical signs of and wear. The frame has stains on the fabric (see photo for a more detailed look).
This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
