Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.
This is a beautiful abstract portrait painted in a Picasso-style manner and executed with acrylic on board. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘70” in the lower right corner.
This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear. The frame has minor stains to the fabric, as you can see in the photos.
