This is an original serigraph printed in a limited edition in the early 1960's -- between 1963 and 1968, and … Read more This is an original serigraph printed in a limited edition in the early 1960's -- between 1963 and 1968, and recently reframed with high-quality UV glass -- to prevent any fading. The rear of the print has a stamp from the Robert Indiana shop, but it is covered up at the moment. This is the New Glory Banner representing the 51 states of the union -- the 51st being Vietnam; see the Pinterest post I have included in my photos. The other rare quality here is the color way which is the primary color set used in Robert Indiana's iconic Love design (which I also own). This piece has been in my family since it was purchased by my father in the 60's in London, likely printed in the US. This is the real deal -- with vibrant colors and perfect condition, and is only priced low because it isn't signed. But many of the Indiana pieces being sold now were reprinted and signed in the 90's purely as a financial gambit -- whereas this one is from the original time period. The measurements given include the frame. The measurements for the serigraph itself, inside the white mat are: 9 1/4" wide, and 15" long. See less
