Beautiful mid Victorian portable desk. Gorgeous dark mahogany box with hinged lid and front that falls open revealing a compact desk set. Includes a calendar, 2 glass inkwells with hinged lids, a file box with 6 slots, an inset adjustable calendar, a single drawer, and 2 hooks for hanging. Has lock, but no key. Fitted with handles at each side and 3 intaglio circles in front. Measures 13 1/4" tall x 11 1/4" x 8 1/2".
Excellent condition, especially for age. Wear at corners of lid, missing key, and one of the lids of the bottles has wear to the metal.
