Stool by Juul Kristensen for Glostrup (last one!)
Typical to the era, this hassock is a little low slung at 16.5 Inches tall. Form is pure early 70s - chunky teak wood rounded chubby design. Cushion made of a nubby fabric- not boucle- but similar with a thatched pattern. Zippered cover comes off for cleaning. Made to tuck under a coffee table, use as a footstool or have in a corner for additional sitting (two can stack diagonally).
There really is no comparison to the vintage Danish furniture. This teak stool is positively rock solid.
