This beautiful, Louis Philippe fruitwood enfilade, circa 1840, is remarkable for the luminous wood tones and grain patterning that will anchor any living or dining room. The top surface is made of only two parallel planks, finished to a soft texture with rounded edges. Within the frieze is a bank of three drawers: the left and right drawers open by brass knobs, whereas the center door features a working lock & key. Below the drawers are three paneled doors. Sharing a lock & key are the left and center doors, with the additional feature the left door will latch onto the fixed shelf, measuring 15 1/4″ deep. The right door uses its own working lock, operating by the same key as before and opening to a small compartment with a fixed shelf. Shaped bracket feet support the whole.
