Beautiful "Millefiori" Murano glass table lamp, fabricated by Fratelli Toso in the 1950's, Italy.
The elegant shape makes it look like a mushroom.
The multi colored Murano glass gives a stunning effect when lit.
Some normal traces of use, one chip on the upper side of the base (see the picture).
The wiring has been checked by a professional and is suitable for all countries around the world.
Fratello Toso was one of the leading art glass manufacturers of Murano in the 20th century.
In the early 1900's Fratelli Toso started to produce glasses in murrine technique.
Murrine and Millefiori glasses remained a major product field of Fratelli Toso.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
