Both are accompanied by a beautiful carved wooden frame finished in gold leaf. The pair can be dated to around the mid-20th century. The perspective is deliberately flat, giving the two paintings an antique feel, inspired by 17th-century still lifes on copper. Created in a classical figurative style.
