The table rests on four square section legs.
Very beautiful color of the tiles, with their earth and terracotta shades.
Beautiful contrast of the whole, very good condition considering its age.
Each tile is handcrafted, produced by a technique in which real leaves were pressed into clay, and upon firing disintegrated leaving a detailed imprint. The leaves come from Garrigue, a variety of native vegetation only found in the south of France, where Capron lived and worked for 60 years.
This table being old, it can obviously have defects, inherent to its great age.
