Constructed following the principles of a mobile, these are arrangements of linear tubes, geometric light sources, reflective surfaces and counterbalancing weights. The pieces rotate freely and delicately, creating an ever-changing lighting configuration unique to the space they occupy.

Michael Anastassiades is a designer based in London. He launched his studio in 1994. Positioned between fine art and design, his work aims to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction.
The series of mobile chandeliers typifies the designer’s playful, minimalist aesthetic. Thin patinated brass rods are held in precise balance, punctuated by mouth blown opaline light bulbs. See less
