the artist is known for his ability to capture the natural light and colors of the venetian landscape. carlo dalla zorza exhibited at the venice biennale in 1924, 1926 and 1928 as a graphic designer and in 1934, 1940 as a painter. In 1945, however, an entire room was dedicated to him and he is mentioned in the "xxvii bienniale" catalog on page 174.
the state of conservation is good. It requires superficial cleaning and arrangement of the corners. There are numerous labels on the back of the work. The frame, not contemporary, is of the marconi type in carved, lacquered and gold-highlighted wood measuring 66x56x6 cm.
