Kandem workshop table lamp model 745 with small round shade. This table lamp was produced between 1930-1939 by Körting & Mathiesen in Leipzig. The German lamp manufacturer Kandem was founded in Leipzig in 1889. This lamp is beautifully designed with the correct proportions. We disassembled this lamp, restored it, polished it and provided it with a layer of clear lacquer. We then fitted this lamp with a new grounded twisted 180 cm fabric cord and plug. Normally these lamps were mounted on the wall or on a machine in a workshop. We have mounted this on a matching metal base. The Bakelite fitting is original with a rotary switch in the hood. The Kandem logo is also on the back of the hood. A beautiful Bauhaus classic, perfect to use as a desk lamp, mood lamp, table lamp or night lamp!
