Handwoven by Afshar tribal artists the piece features sophisticated artistry, which begins in the outer borders and is evident in the beautiful tones seen throughout, such as navy, red, ivory, yellow, and green. The background comprises the robust base of the carpet, creating a striking contrast against the breath-taking tri-diamond design. Rendered primarily in colorful tones, the motifs depict stylized chrysanthemums and a Traditional Design unique to Afshar carpets.
