c. 1920 brass coat rack, with angular construction throughout.
This piece features four matching oversized double hooks on the top that each include a third, smaller hook underneath. Roughly halfway down the pole are two more small double hooks on opposite sides. The square legs taper down in an outward fashion to form a pyramidal base supported by small rails connected to the pole. This piece was likely made for use in a public space or shop, where sturdy construction and aesthetic were equally valued.
Exhibits minor signs of wear including a nicely patinated finish.
