This appears to be a 20th century restrike of a late 17th century copperplate map depicting De La Ville Et … Read more This appears to be a 20th century restrike of a late 17th century copperplate map depicting De La Ville Et Chasteau De Namur in 1692. Similar maps have been reproduced from original engraved copperplates by the Musee du Louvre. These maps include a Louvre seal. This map does not. This map is set on Rives etching paper and appears to date from the middle third of the 20th century. Unframed. The sheet is approximately 26" x 19 1/2". The plate dimensions approximately 21 1/2" x 15".

Very good vintage condition with toning from previous framing (1/4" outside of plate marks). Please examine photos closely. See less
