Design by Jan Brunott. Dutch design from the 1920s, made of oak and lacquered black elements with two doors. Inside a shelf. The Hague school style is recognizable by the straight and cubist shapes of the furniture that reflect the architecture of the time. The Hague School was a mix of the rationalism of Berlage, the traditional Arts and Crafts Movement, the interiors of Frank Lloyd Wright, Rietveld and the Avant-garde movement De Stijl. All this in a modern design. Jan Brunott was a furniture designer and interior designer. Born in The Netherlands : 1889, Kethel (Schiedam). Died: 1951, The Hague. Place and period of activity: The Hague, from 1910 to 1951. The measurement is 91.5 cm high, 69 cm wide and the depth is 41.5.
