The … Read more Rare set of eight Michael Taylor Margot labeled dining chairs featuring a weathered and distressed finish to mimic age. The set consists of six side chairs and two host armchairs measuring 24 inches wide at the arms. The chairs have an intentionally aged, distressed finish on the white lacquer with visible wear spots as seen in photos. The stunning white lacquer frames are accented by gold leaf embellished ribbon and swag on the back splats. The upholstery is mismatched on two chairs and has some visible light staining. The frames are sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Original Michael Taylor plaques and order tags are on bottoms of the seat. The chairs have a neoclassical design aesthetic with a dramatic profile and finish. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
