Originally most likely, a telephone and "Yellow Pages Book" holder, it remains useful for any number of purposes today. It could function as a generic end table, especially useful in small apartments, it also works well as an album holder, night stand, plant stand or book rack, etc.

It is constructed exclusively of perforated metal mesh. It has rubber booties in place on all of its legs. It is in excellent structural condition (some light scratches and rust) fully ready to serve, as is, or with such "TLC" as you desire to apply. It measures 21.5" tall x 6.5" wide, 9" deep. It is an excellent period piece without any non-essential decoration.
