Vintage or possibly antique heavy brass elongated octagonal serving tray or plaque. Decorated with etched ethnic and Hindu culture designs. Likely South Indian origin. The plaque has a natural patina developed over decades. Figures depicted include a Hindu deity, likely Ganesha, given the elephant head. Lord Hanuman is shown in a tribhanga stance, holding his gada (mace) and an offering. There are also other figures depicted from mythology or folklore.
