The top of the chest has a nicely molded edge and, as any fine piece of furniture, the top follows the shape of the base. The chest has nicely shaped sides and a serpentine front. There are 2 drawers on the chest. Each drawer has a molded and shaped edge and the finest quality hand carvings and moldings. The original Solid Brass Handles are of the absolute finest quality and are stunning. The skirt at the bottom of the front of the chest has the finest open pierced hand carvings imaginable. The chest has rounded corners on the front right and left sides with hand carved moldings. Both the right and left sides has a highly shaped panel with hand carved moldings. There is a hand carved skirt to the bottom on both the right and left sides. The chest sits on a fantastic set of hand carved short Cabriole legs and even the 2 back legs are shaped and have a rolled foot. The original finish and the overall condition is wonderful. This is a fabulous example of a great quality, beautiful piece of 18th Century French Country Furniture. It measures 52 in. wide x 28 in. deep x 34 1/4 in. tall. less

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
